Baseball & Softball Practice Options
The Edge Sports Center offers a wide variety of options for baseball and softball practice that can be tailored to meet your needs, either as a team or as an individual.
Please note that the special TEAM pricing of the packages described below is available only for TEAMS that are currently actively registered with a non-profit youth, high school, or college sports organization.
BATTING CAGE RENTAL

- All-star 5000 Simulator for baseball. Click here to see more
- Fully automatic “Iron Mike” Baseball and Softball pitching machines
- Hand-fed JUGS Baseball and Softball pitching machines. (Great for younger hitters)
- Live-hit, soft-toss, or tee-work using screens, baseballs and tees provided free of charge by The Edge.
- Bats and helmets are also available free of charge.
Restrictions & Requirements
- Limited to one batter per cage except when doing multiple hitting tee stations
- All hitters must wear helmets in the cage – this includes adults!
- Minimum rental is 15 minutes
- Balls must be picked up at the end of practice. There is no automatic ball pickup machine

The “Mini-field” is the 27 x 20 yard area that is left when we drop the three hitting tunnels in the northwest portion of the field. A divider curtain separates the mini-field area from the diamond.
Restrictions & Requirements
- An adult must be present on the field throughout the practice time
- Minimum rental is one hour
- Hitting practice with hard balls is not allowed in the “Mini-field”
- Limited to 16 players plus coaches – additional players are extra

The Full-size Diamond is a 40 x 40 yard area configured with standard outdoor bases and a pitcher plate set in the ground at the correct distances for your age group. All baseball and softball dimensions are available, up to and including high school /college dimensions. A divider curtain separates the diamond from the western part of the field.
